Lady Slipper Vine - Thumbergia mysorenesis

The Lady Slipper has been beautifully blossoming over the last few years in winter. The flower really looks like a miniature slipper that a tiny lady can slip on.

Lady slipper is also called the Tropical Wisteria.
When the vine climbs across the pagola, the leaves spread  evenly cover with bright yellow and maroon flowers dropping down.
The flowers are about 30-80cm long that create a gorgeous swinging curtain.
It would have been very nice if they had a beautiful fragrance; the flower has no smell.
